The Szczecin site provides extensive corrosion protection systems in the form of hot-dip galvanizing and powder coating. The latter are also available as the ZINKPOWER Coating duplex system to provide optimum protection for steel in every corrosivity category. The galvanizing plant was founded in 1999 and was taken over by the ZINKPOWER Group in 2005. In addition to hot-dip galvanizing, ZINKPOWER Szczecin also offers pipeline construction for shipyards. The range of pipeline services offered includes the production, assembly and corrosion protection of pipelines and individual components. The Szczecin site is certified for pipeline construction on ships as per DIN EN ISO 3834-2 and is also classified to DNV-GL and offers its services for Navy vessels and passenger ships, among others.

The type of powder coating is matched to the requirements of the respective corrosivity category (up to C5-M) at the installation site and is tested by renowned research institutes. The protective life of our ZINKPOWER Coating Systems is significantly longer than that of corrosion protection systems prepared by sweeping or the application of zinc phosphate to the surface treatment. And in line with our mission statement – simple, perfect, reliable – hot-dip galvanizing is offered with powder coating as a one-stop service under one roof.
