The focus is also on corrosion protection by hot-dip galvanizing at ZINKPOWER Monterrey in Mexico. Our galvanizing plant also offers transport organisation and professional advice on corrosion protection and hot-dip galvanized structures as additional services. Corrosion protection for steel and metal structures measuring up to 15.7 x 2.5 x 3.0 metres is possible in the largest galvanizing cauldron in the ZINKPOWER Group, providing additional stimulus for the steel processing industry in the region.
In May 2007, the galvanizing plant in Cienega de Flores started operations. ZINKPOWER Monterrey is the first investment by the ZINKPOWER Group on the American continent. The site is situated in the Monterrey Technology Park in Cienega de Flores, in Greater Monterrey, 200 km south of the border with the US state of Texas.
The kettle is the largest of the ZINKPOWER Group and gives the steel processing
industry in this region new impulses in corrosion protection.
